Cancellations

Orders that are placed but not yet released to production may incur a fee for work completed by our engineering department. Non-engineered orders will not incur a cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations within 90 days: A fee of up to 10% of the product total.
  • Cancellations between 91-180 days: A fee of up to 25% of the product total.
  • Cancellations after 180 days: A fee of up to 50% of the product total.

Once an order is released to production, cancellations are not accepted. Typically, this release occurs within the same business day of the order, though for engineered products, it may take longer.

Damages & Shortages

Any product remakes and/or refunds are at the discretion of Bellointerior.

Damage Claims: If a freight shipment appears damaged upon arrival, note the damage on the BOL paperwork provided by the driver before signing. After noting the damage, accept the delivery; do not deny it. This ensures the freight company acknowledges the damage at delivery. Customers can then work directly with Bellointerior on proper documentation and potential material replacements. Often, packaging may be damaged while the product remains intact. Bellointerior will replace any confirmed damaged items.

In case of a damage claim, Bellointerior requires photo or video evidence of the issue and may request the part’s return. All solutions and replacements are at the discretion of Bellointerior. Damage must be documented with pictures and correspondence within 5 business days of receipt. Claims filed beyond this window may incur charges for replacement materials.

Product Defects and Manufacturing Errors: Defects or errors must be reported promptly to the project manager, who will guide the resolution. Pictures clearly showing the defect/error in the project space are required. Bellointerior reserves the right to remake products meeting these criteria at no extra cost. However, if the issue arises from changes in job site parameters without notifying Bellointerior, the customer may bear the cost of additional materials. Defects reported post-installation may incur additional charges for replacement materials.

Product Shortages: Report shortages within 5 business days of receipt via email to your project manager or custserv@bellointerior.com. Customers receive shipping information and a simplified packing list to inventory their order after the driver departs. Do not delay the driver for inventory.

If items such as skids or boxes are missing per the Bill of Lading, note this on the BOL when signing for the delivery.

As a best practice, do not refuse shipments, as this can delay the project timeline. Work directly with Bellointerior by providing pictures and documentation for quicker resolution. Shortages reported beyond the 5-business-day window may incur additional charges for replacement materials.

Bellointerior’s Right to Remake: For all scenarios, Bellointerior reserves the right to remake products to meet original job site requirements. By agreeing to Bellointerior policies during the verification process, customers consent to this resolution method. Bellointerior will not issue refunds for manufacturing errors, shipping damage, or job site delays. Reinstallation or rescheduling costs are not covered unless Bellointerior’s certified installers are used for the project.

Pricing & Promotions

Pricing is subject to change at any time for all orders.

If a pricing error occurs, Bellointerior reserves the right to adjust the order after the fact. If a pricing error does happen and Bellointerior alters the price, the customer will have the option to cancel the order. For example, if the displayed price is $19.90, but the correct price is $199.

If customers choose to pay an expedite fee, this automatically voids all sale pricing.

The price of installation is separate from the product and cannot be discounted as part of a sale.

Quotes provided to customers by a sales representative are good for 30 days. However, the discount may change based on current promotions.

Customers are prohibited from claiming more than one pricing promotion per order.

Pricing provided to customers via the Bellointerior website calculators and pricing tools are merely estimates and are not final pricing.

Bellointerior may run promotions or discount sales available to customers both online and through our sales teams. Promotional or discount sale prices are only applicable during their designated active sale dates and cannot be extended or applied retroactively.

Locked-in pricing is only available under the following conditions:

  • The project scope and/or design are not modified.
  • If you place an order with a down payment, Bellointerior will honor your initial order price for six months. Beginning in the seventh month, a 1% price increase will apply to the total order each month.
  • For Steel First FLIGHT – Price will be held for one year, with a 1% increase each month after one year, for up to 24 months from the purchase date.

Any order remaining open for over 24 months will be subject to repricing. If the cost of goods sold increases by 25% or more at any time, Bellointerior reserves the right to reprice or cancel the order.

Production & Lead Times

Lead Times and Production Estimates

Bellointerior’s lead times are calculated based on ideal conditions in our production facilities and market demand. Due to the custom nature of our products, these dates are estimates and are never guaranteed. Shipping transit time is not included. While we strive to meet customers’ desired on-site dates, Bellointerior is not responsible for job site delays, contractor scheduling conflicts, or any associated costs.

Unpredictable Factors

Several factors may impact the production and delivery of custom-manufactured products, such as shipping damage, transit delays, weather events, or labor shortages. Customers are advised to inventory items using the packing list and inspect product quality within 5 business days of receiving the shipment. Upon confirming that all items have been received and are in satisfactory condition, customers should schedule final installation with their contractor. We do not recommend final scheduling before the product has been shipped and received.

Storage Fees

Once an order is released to production, it will be shipped upon completion. If a customer requests product storage for more than five business days, Bellointerior reserves the right to charge a storage fee of up to $100 per day.

Returns

Return Policy

All returns must be made within 180 days of order shipment. To qualify for a return, products must be in resellable condition and free from damage. A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns, and a completed Return Goods Authorization (RGA) form is required.

Shipping

Shipping Policies

Bellointerior reserves the right to amend shipping rates at its discretion and at any point during the process.

All standard freight decisions are made at Bellointerior’s discretion. We also operate our own delivery service in select regions.

Small package deliveries are made via UPS or US Mail. Express shipping is available at the customer’s expense, including remakes or additional products. Carrier tracking information serves as proof of delivery for all shipments.

LTL Shipments

Orders containing handrails or rods over 8 feet are delivered via Less Than Truckload (LTL) Shipment. Large LTL shipments are handled by multiple LTL carriers. If you are interested in LTL’s “no appointment necessary” delivery option, contact your sales representative. Damages or shortages for these deliveries must be reported within 24 hours. Carriers provide texts and photos during the delivery process.

For standard LTL deliveries, any damaged packages or missing parcels must be noted on the BOL (Bill of Lading) before signing. Failure to report issues on the BOL will result in the customer bearing the cost of replacement items.

If a shipping address is changed after the product has shipped from our facility, any re-consignment fees charged by the shipping company will be billed to the customer.

Please note: LTL carriers are only contracted to deliver to the curb, not to the house.

Additional Fees and Recommendations

Customers are responsible for fees associated with missed deliveries, including re-delivery or delayed shipment storage costs.

For floating stair projects, we recommend having 4-5 people on-site during delivery to move products from the truck to the desired location.

A forklift rental is advisable for deliveries involving glass panels to ensure safe handling.


Terms

These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana. Any legal proceedings against Bellointerior that may arise out of, relate to, or be in any way connected with Bellointerior’s services or these Terms of Use shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Elkhart County, Indiana. Any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts are hereby waived.
