Glass Railing Standoff Pins - Sleek and Strong

Only about 3/4 of the glass standoff bracket supports the weight of the glass panels. The bracket is bolted into the mounting surface, and once the glass is positioned, the remaining portion of the pin is attached to the outer side of the glass and twisted into place, compressing the glass. Made from lightweight 6061 aluminum—the same material used in aircraft and marine fittings—the standoff pins are both durable and reliable. They are available in four powder coat finish options: standard powder coat black, fluoropolymer black, standard powder coat speedboat silver, and fluoropolymer speedboat silver. Despite their small size, these sturdy pins are side-mounted, similar to the style of the Side Mount Post.

How do you install the pin?
Bellointeriors Standoff brackets are easy to install with just a few tools and two people. Start by pre-drilling holes in the mounting surface, then secure the base of the pin with a lag screw. Next, thread the pin core and sleeve onto the base. Once all base/sleeve units are in place, insert the cap bolts into the caps and add a flat washer, making standoffs ideal for staircases. Finally, install the glass panels one by one and finish by adding the caps. For more detailed instructions and tips, refer to our Installation Guide.
